Scan at 300 DPI, gray scale. You have to have a transparency adapter so the light source comes through the x-ray and does not reflect off. Gives excellent results. Microtek gives best scanning results. Let me know if this helps

I use a color lighter than the restoration that I will I will replace. This helps me to double check the area next time I do an exam. I then enter a procedure button of watch so I check it off as I am doing the exam.

Sorry, carefully read your original post. The image on the second monitor can be done if the image is opened in the chart itself in the tabs. Then it has its own window. Thanks, never tried that but it works.

I do Autonotes wiith 2-3 responses for each area ie; WNL, pathology (then edit the pathology) or common abnomalities like high frena attachment listed as a choice. Gives a lot of consistency with your exam especially when training staff.
