Re: Saving X12 claims?
I'm trying to validate the X-12 format that OD outputs against the Texas Medicare & Healthcare Partnership (TMHP) - I've got it mostly working, except for the error at the end of this message. The referenced section is this: REF*0B*TX12345~ (this is what I have as the provider's state license #) REF...

Saving X12 claims?
I'm with a software developer who has a customer using the OpenDental software for their dental practice. We're looking at sending claims directly to TMHP (Texas Medicaid & Healthcare Partnership) - they accept the X12 format. Is there any way to print the claims to a local file on the PC in the X12...

Re: appt ref. number
Ok, I understand - the procedure can be listed, but it's not associated with an appointment if it's not selected. So, if you select multiple procedures to delete them, unselecting the valid one in the process, you would need to re-select the valid one after the others are deleted to re-associate it?

Re: appt ref. number
I wasn't the original poster - not sure what "you think it's still 0" is in reference to. Regardless, I agree with what you say that as soon as the procedure is created within the appointment, the procedurelog.aptnum column is populated with the correct aptnum value. However, if I go in and delete s...

Re: appt ref. number
I realize this is an old topic, but I had a question on this subject. I am writing a workflow tool that reads data from the Open Dental MySQL database, and I'm also curious about the use of the procedurelog.aptnum column. This column appears to be 0 until you double-click on the procedure within the...

Flexibility of A-Z Folder Structure?
This may be a silly question, but I'm trying to unify the folder structure of Open Dental and Dr. View (by Fyitek Software) to avoid duplication of image assets. Dr. View needs panos and other photos to create various government required forms, and as such, stores these photos in an alphabetical pat...
