Sure, it will work with OD. It's just a keystroke generator. I'm not quite sure what you're supposed to do if the number is greater than 8, or how you simultaneously enter bleeding points. But for typical numeric charting, it seems very handy.

You can edit existing TPs. But if you delete an existing procedure on your default TP, then it will no longer be "linked" to the procedure on the saved TP. Similarly, if you add a new procedure, there's no way to tack it onto a saved TP. Yes, there is room for improvement with mulitple TPs.

I remember why it doesn't make sense to put cash on the deposit slip. You don't itemize cash. If ten different patients gave you cash, the bank doesn't want to see 10 patients listed out. They want to see the count of 20s, 10s, 5s, and 1s. It's a different paradigm. At least that's my reasoning.

I'm going to guess that's a recent bug that we don't know about yet since we don't have Linux running in production. We did overhaul the Appointment module recently, so that would make sense.

Looks like you have an old CDT.dll. You need to copy the new one to your application directory. You will find it in the Required dlls folder. We don't change version numbers. But look at sizes.

Wrap up 5.1

Everyone wrap up all your loose ends. Version 5.1 will go to beta in a couple days. I know it doesn't seem like 5.1 is very different from 5.0, but there really have been some important changes. And we also need to have a beta version for various reasons.

Yes. The reason it's there is because there's no other way to set the OpenDental project as the startup project. I'll remove it from the head, and leave it in the versions that are in production.

Yes, it still works with any clearinghouse. I seriously doubt that will ever change. In 5.1, it will be a tighter interface with Tesia, more like what we already have with ClaimConnect. And we're automating the response files so that you can just see the statuses on claims without having to look at ...

Why was the "Mounts" class moved?

I'm having trouble with understanding why the Mounts class and others were moved into the business layer. It was very organized to have one class for each table all in the same place. Now, if I want to find Mounts, I won't know where to go. It seems less organized to do it like this. My understandin...
