We got a complaint from an office which is using this option. Re: Procedure info does not show up on billing
You could switch to version 5.6 to control the date range on billing.
Good idea on the dunning messages. There were other higher priorities which were just taken care of with the recent overhaul of billing.

The subscription feature for assigning task lists to specific users is not currently designed to handle repeating tasks. You can manually drop tasks into someone's task list to your heart's content. If it was easy to put the date in, it would have already been done. I don't want a date in (other appt) if it slows things down. drtech, I think you'd have to get fairly fancy to pull that information up with one query. The key point here is not that it's from "the internet". The key point is that you used a known good copy of a Setup.exe file. You could just as easily have gotten this from your office AtoZ folder.

Ignore most of my last post. I still need to know which version of OD you're talking about, but Nathan says he has researched this issue enough to be convinced that it's the MS Intellimouse software that's causing the problem and that it has nothing to do with your graphics card. He's trying to dupl...

And what version of OD are you using? It's very critical with all claimed bugs that we know what version of OD we're talking about. What is your screen size? Is it really big, like 30"? When you say you, "turn off hardware acceleration" to make it work, does that mean that you change something from ...

One more thing. If you accept assignment, then you really should stop using the "Don't subtract ins est from balance" option. If you use that option it will ask the patient to pay $639 on their bill, not the $105 that you have shown. Please note that the "Don't subtract ins est from balance" option ...

I already made the changes to it so that it functions just like the Account module. I notice in your screenshot that the number $744 is shown three times, and the numbers $639 and $105 are both shown twice. This is even more confusing than having a few more boxes next to aging. Why on earth would yo...

Really. Well, various labels throughout the program might be getting cut off at the end. Changing the DPI would be worse because all the grids will have rows that are too short, resulting in the lower portion of the text getting cut off. Changing the DPI back is something we've had to do for a numbe...

Queries with quotes in them are always tricky to put together. On a TEST database, I would try some variants of the following query: UPDATE procnote SET ProcCodeNote=REPLACE(ProcCodeNote, '""', ''); or UPDATE procnote SET ProcCodeNote=REPLACE(ProcCodeNote, '\"\"', ''); or something like that. Please...

Version 5.6
Just a few more days until the beta release of 5.6. Let's wrap up all loose ends, and no more new features.

What specific version are you using? Also, it sounds like it's behaving perfectly. The $209 would be your standard fee, and the $164 would be what you contracted with the PPO to charge. So it should be basing the percentage off the $164, right? Actually, you might be experiencing a totally separate ...

The way to draw a line is to draw a filled panel of a narrow width and possibly no border. There are far too many amounts at the top of the account that all seem to be identical. The way I want it to look is: Total-InsEst=Balance, where balance is the big red number we tell the patient to pay. Help ...

I don't quite understand your last question. We can delete any existing pref we want as long as we do a "find text in files" to make sure it's not in use. As for the unused space... I'm willing to put some insurance info always showing. As for making the bold balance bigger... I'm going to make it a...

That's fine. Just be sure to name it starting with something very descriptive of the general purpose of the pref. There are a lot of prefs that I let slip through with bad names. I would suggest "AccountIntermingleDefault". Isn't the bold balance no longer relevant with everything clearer? Everyone ...

Storing this data in a flowitem table would make refreshing the appointment module blazing fast no matter how much of this sort of info you wanted to show. You wouldn't have to have a query for every status indicator that worked on the fly. Currently the ! works on the fly, so it's not efficient. So...

As I've thought about it some more, I was able to get it down to just two tables. I also shortened their names: flowitem table stores the items for each patient. FK to appointment. flowitemdef table stores the default list. No foreign keys at all. As for showing it on an appointment, how about somet...

For some reason, I thought you were already doing this, sorry. Actually, I have never figured out how to create and msi. We purchased Installshield, and it took months/years to work out the kinks and get it operating as smoothly as it now does. Would it help if I just quickly release the next versio...

I have a few comments. 1. It will be highly variable between offices. Care must be taken to keep it very customizable. 2. You seem to be formalizing business rules. They seem to be the kinds of rules that most offices don't ever formalize, but instead rely on word of mouth and experienced employees ...
