Delete a Recall

I have a patient that was on Prophy Recall 6months.
She had existing FUD and 3 lower teeth and an RPD.
Now she has Complete Dentures.
I have her set up for 1 year Denture Recall.
However, the Prophy Recall will not go away.
When I select "Delete this recall" for the 6 mo Prophy, the prophy recall remains.

How can I just have showing in the patient's recall section a recall for just Denture 1 year and Pano 1 year?
.......now it says Prophy 6 months, Denture 1 year, Pano 1 year.

That's a limitation which has been pointed out, although nobody has thought it important enough to submit as a feature request.

Respectfully, this is the issue I have with Feature Requests.....

I'm not asking if it would be possible to do something that isn't yet created.

Open Dental has already has a feature that implies it will do something.
All I'm asking is that the feature already installed.......works.

It seems really silly to have to make a feature request to fix something.

I knew you wouldn't like my answer. The inability to remove a prophy recall was a feature that was added at your request. It was agreed by you and me that it was critical that every patient have a recall that could not be removed. This was to keep patients from slipping through the cracks. I think you will agree that the addition of that feature was a good thing even though it's causing you this annoyance with one patient. Two steps forward, one step back. How about putting a note on that patient until the feature is added?

I brought this up in the past when the recall first changed to being required. Instead of deleting it you can disable the Prophy recall and the disabled status will show in the Notes. The only flaw is that you can't then set the denture recall as the patient's "primary" recall. So the "DateRecallDue" field that is available in sheets is not updated.
