Insurance estimates and statements
Insurance estimates and statements
I just converted from the old dentists easy dental to open dental. I am looking at a statement that I just printed out. It shows the insurance estimate and in my situation I guess this insurance estimate is coming from the previous dentists procedures before the conversion. How can I fix this? This makes the statment very confusing because it shows a total of $138 but and insurance estimate of $219 and then a negative balance.

it would also be a lot better IF the estimats {pre-determinations} and the actual claims outstanding are listed individually. Any way this can happen?
Thanks;

On the statements? Hmm, I don't think anyone has ever requested that predeterminations show on statements. But claims outstanding already do show individually on statements.

Re: Insurance estimates and statements
No not on the statment - but on the reports. The total outstanding comes up on the report as money outstanding and its not work charged out yet. So either two seperate reports would work or a split typr of report - actual claims outstanding and pre-estimates outstanding

We sort of have that. See the checkbox to include preauths or not?
