Choice Imaging and Open Dental

Post by kennedydmd » Wed Aug 25, 2010 11:28 am

I'm opening a new office, have Open Dental and I am trying to decide on an imaging software. I would like to use Choice Imaging from VideoDental.com

The program appears to be a repackaging of MediaDent.

Will I be able to bridge to choiceimaging from open dental without having to type patients names in choice imaging when retrieving images?

Anyone have any experience with this product?

i like to know too.
i want to switch over from camsight PMS to open dental. But i am limited by Suni's sensors and Kodak PANO. So i need an imaging software to bridge from open dental. Choice is a new imaging software I guess, since last year, my research came up with XDR and apteryx

VideoDental.com setup bridge for me as a free trial user. They spend about 20minutes to get my suni sensor running and bridge from open dental.

So, Choice Imaging can bridge from Open dental. I believe they use the default sensor for Mediadent.

I'm actually an authorized reseller of Choice Imaging and have attended the full training session in Florida at Video Dental. Choice can be setup to work with any number of practice management applications, including Open Dental. The nice part is you can continue using your KODAK, SUNI, E2V, or other sensors. It also supports the widest variety of support you will find anywhere for scanners, intra-oral cameras, etc.

If you're interested in seeing the bridge in action, send me an email at gerald@g2computersolutions.com and I'll setup an online session to show you how it works.
