Popups

Post by tmv2 » Sun May 29, 2011 11:20 am

Hi,

I'm running 7.6.36 and the 'Edit Popup' window after clicking on the 'Popups' button in the Toolbar doesn't look like the one here in the docs.

I only see the Text and Permanently Disabled checkbox, but no 'Save and disabled for' section. In addition, the popup appears only once when switching patients. Is it possible to have the popup window shown every time when switching patients with popups?

I also tried version 7.9.8 but got the same results as 7.7.36.

Our screenshots are old. The complicated windows were just too annoying.

So is it possible when switching patients to have the popup window shown every time until it's manually disabled instead of it being shown only once?

it show again by itself after about 10 minutes or instantly on another computer so that you don't get annoyed with it when you already saw it, but reminded again later or someone else is reminded on another computer

I think it would be useful to have the popups "permanently disabled" specifically for certain users or workstations. We keep would like the popups to always show on the reception workstations but not on the operatory screens where a patient may inadvertently see a "pita" comment or something similarly inappropriate!

Actually, we use it for notes like "patient's husband just died" or "congratulate for graduating college". We want to be reminded at certain workstations every time but don't want this to show up in front of the patient.
