This has happened a few times.
I run my procedures not billed to insurance report, then go back and bill them out.
Sometimes a procedure is listed in the patient's account as (unsent), yet it HAS been sent. When I double click on it, it says that it is part of a claim and do I really want to edit it ? The procedures that end up like this usually ARE paid for by the insurance companies, so I know that they are being sent, yet they are still marked unsent and showing up in my report. How do I fix this ?
Thanks,
Mike

Re: Procedures marked unsent but showing up as part of a cla
This can happen when the procedure has more than one insurance estimate. It can happen if the patient has two or more plans and it can happen if the patient has only one plan, but the insurance plan was entered after the procedure was treatment planned. To fix: go to the Account module and double click on the procedure. Look in the long narrow box called "Insurance Estimates and Payments". If there is more than one line in the list, you have multiple insurance estimates. If the patient only has one plan you have to delete the estimate that is not valid. You look for the one that is not part of the claim and you double click it. Then you click "Delete".
