Private Messages Stuck in Outbox

Private Messages Stuck in Outbox
I have three messages that I've tried to send from the private messages on this forum, but they're stuck in the outbox. Is anyone else having this problem?

I also noted that they stay in the Outbox for a while. I could be wrong, but I have the impression that they stay there until the recipient reads it. I think they are actually sent, even though they stay in the Outbox.
