Many OD e-Services are included at no additional charges when you are on "Customers Support"

If you have OD Support, probably you are paying $169/month/location or office. OD are known for having the best Support team.

Users on "Customer Support" receive the following e-services at no additional charges:

- Telephone support
- Software updates, bug fixes, and new features as new versions are released
- Web Forms
- Patient Portal
- e reminders
- Automated THANK YOU, by Emails ( Texting has additional charges)
- Email consent forms
- Free Xray and Pan Imaging software
- General messages , by email ( Texting has additional charges)

Patient Portal may be mandatory for all dental offices to have in 2022. Patient portal is included for customers who are on Support at no additional charges.

Open Dental Imaging - Take Xray directly in Open Dental

the Xray "Acquiring" feature, is included at no additional charges when you are on OD Support.
Please Update to the newest OD version to get many of the additional IMAGING features

You can acquire Xrays directly in the Images module in Open Dental, there is no need for another imaging software like Apteryx, Dexis, etc....
In the Images folder, look for the "Acquire" tab, to acquire Xray
If you are on OD Support, this Xray "Acquire" option is activated, and now you can take Xrays directly in OD.
If you are not on support, you can not access this feature.

To make your Sensor work with this feature you need your IT guy to help you with the installation.
