Need a good laser printer recommendation, that won't cutoff

Post by Davison » Mon Dec 15, 2008 5:24 pm

Hi, just getting setup to switch to OD, and find that when I print a paper insurance claim on my current printers, the bottom line of the claim form is gone. Meaning it cuts off my NPI, license number, and my office's address. So this won't do!

Can some of you experienced users tell me some mainstream laser printers you are using that are not doing this? I was going to get a new printer anyway, but I want to get one that will print the ENTIRE claim form.

I found some old posts from last year about this, but no work around really.

Can I print to an older claim form template and avoid this?

So what has worked for you other users?

Don

We use a Samsung ML-2010, it doesnt cut off my NPI. Have had printer for 3 years, so there is probably a new version. We send almost 100% of claims electronically using RSS and Fast attach for xrays and Perio charts. There are other clearing house's for eclaims as well.

I too hope to go mostly electronic, but still will start creating claims mostly on paper so I can see what we are submitting. Anybody else had good luck with a laser (HP, Okidata, something I can get most anywhere)?

Thanks!
