Supernumerary Ext
Supernumerary Ext
How do you place the ext of supernumerary teeth in tx plan? I use 1 and 1(1) for an upper right and OD will only let me place 1 twice. Have to add note.
Re: Supernumerary Ext
I believe the correct way to designate supernumeraries is by adding 50 to the tooth number. So a supernumerary wisdom tooth beside tooth 1 would be tooth 51.

Re: Supernumerary Ext
That is correct. Open Dental will let you put in the supernumerary numbers that way.

Re: Supernumerary Ext
Of course. International supernumerary teeth have their own numbering system which we also support.

Re: Supernumerary Ext
I was wrong. FDI doesn't seem to support supernumerary notation. I was thinking of perm vs. pri.
