Ok, I have finally come to a point in the OD program where I want to use more the functions, so I will post these questions on different posts so they can be answered separately.
1. The Messaging section - - - can the messages ever be deleted, once acknowledged?

No, I don't believe so. Although, since they are only relevant for a few hours, I wouldn't be surprised if a future version had a purge function to help reduce the size of the database.
