I have two questions about insurance changes.
1. New fee schedule:
What is the best way to handle new fee schedules for next year? Do you update the original fee schedule the day before the change or create a new fee schedule in advance and change the fee schedule for everyone to the new one? Will it cause any problems with existing claims?
2. New insurance
If a patient has a new insurance, what do you do? Do you keep the old one or simply make the changes on top of the existing one? Again will it cause any problems with existing claims?
Thanks.

Re: What do you do with insurance changes
1.Change the existing fee schedule. Completed procedures never change fees automatically. So no, it won't cause problems.
2. Drop the old one, but don't delete it. Don't just change the existing one.
