With a heavy heart I have a question..
One of our patients passed away suddenly and he was the insured for the family.
I need to keep him as the insured for now but how do I change the head-of-household to his
widow so that the statements don't show up there withhis name on them and upset his young children?

Thanks;

Sorry to hear your loss.
I had the same question a while back.
Perhaps Nathan will give his 2 cents, but until then, this is what he suggested to me.
Make widow the guarantor of the family account.
Move the deceased to an account all to his own, including his insurance info.
Family members will keep the insurance the same ( insurance from the now solo deceased husband/father account).
Deceased will no longer show up on statements.
Candy is dandy, but sex won't rot your teeth.
Cheers!!!
