Alternative Benefit for Composite (Molars Only)

Post by Nate » Thu Dec 04, 2008 8:05 am

Is there a way to estimate treatment plan based on alternative benefit for composite on molars only as I have found several insurances only substituting the amalgam for the molars. They will cover there usual percent for premolars. I thought I read a way of doing it before but can not find it. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Nathan

Well, you could change it for the whole office. In the the procedure code edit window, change the "always" to "molar" in the dropdown next to the substitution code.
