Does open dental work well with this setup? Can you have your data folder on an XD card and the program on the solid state hard drive?

The data isn't the problem. The problem is the screen size. The screen size/resolution is simply too small on that computer to run OD.

Simple work around is to get a stand alone monitor and plug it into the mini.
The mini computers I've seen have a port for this purpose.
Then get a wired or wireless keyboard and mouse to make the thing act like a full sized desktop.

I just read that mini's are so popular the next versions may have touch screen.
I'm assuming it'll be too small for patients in the waiting room to use to fill out paperless forms..
But that would be great! What do you think Dr Sparks.

Thanks
