Your messages on recall cards and recall emails?

Post by brentwood » Thu Aug 20, 2009 10:53 pm

The recall cards and recall emails have been ineffective for us. It seems that calls by front desk get the best results. But I would like to make it the last resort. I don't want to give people an impression that we are aggressive on that.

Could you share your messages on recall cards and recall emails? Right now I am using the default ones in Open Dental. I think I need something a little more motivating. Thanks.

Here's my Message #1:

Greetings,

We are committed to your continued good health. As requested, we are reminding you that it is time to schedule your dental recare appointment. Please call us today
We are looking forward to seeing you soon.

Here is Message #2:

We are very concerned about your health. Delaying your dental check-up permits dental disease to take hold of your gums more forcefully than it may already have. This can cause the immune system to significantly weaken and as a result you may pick up a lot more colds and other communicable diseases that you usually would have simply fought off. End the delay and call us today.

Here is Message #3:

Research has found that the advanced stage of gum disease, periodontitis, is linked with health problems such as heart disease and stroke. Periodontitis can cause premature birth, low birth weight, pancreatic cancer, high blood sugar levels and even bacterial pneumonia. While gum disease is serious, it can be prevented.
Protect your overall health and call us today.

Hope that helps.

Cheers!!

Cheers!!!
