Time card security

Post by fishdrzig » Mon Jan 18, 2010 6:01 am

Is there any way to allow an employee access to the Time Card functions but that if a mistake is made, have to come to me to ask to change it?

No. You can block them from deleting entries, though. Once you do that, it is crystal clear from looking at their timecard whether they have made any changes. We have good reasons for doing it this way. It's much more efficient than blocking them completely. And because of the way we have it set up, there should be zero potential for abuse.
