protecting forms from edits or erasure

I love the sheets function and the new forms button. I use it a lot for referral forms, med info, etc. I've created a lengthy form for new patient examination findings, with checkboxes and text input for various findings and it works out great. No more scanning and shredding. However, I notice that the forms can be reopened, edited, and even completely deleted with no sign of it in audit mode. Is there a way to protect these forms as part of the legal patient record?
