Wireless or just sync at end of day

Is it easier to be wireless on a laptop and travel and then sync when you get back to the business office with the computer with all the backup or is it best to stay connected? I am finding it hard in some buildings to connect to my server. Thought that the new laptop would be easier and I do not have to pay a fee every month for wireless................can not sling the Iphone here in the US.

You're the only one working with the database when you're on the road, right? I would just make your laptop into a server. Who does your billing, and when?
