It's summer and we generally see a drop off in production this time of year. One thing that we have identified is that there are a lot of patients with fiscal year insurance that should be using up their benefits during the summer, just like the push to get calendar year patients motivated in October and November.
We generally send out a semi-customized letter to patients in October explaning that their benefits won't carry over to the following year, which helps fill the schedule.
It seems a bit more difficult to isolate those patients with fiscal year insurance. Is there a report that we can run that will generate a list of patients with fiscal year insurance so that we can send out an "end of the year benefits" letter?
