OD and document/xray scanners

Post by dand » Thu Oct 11, 2007 8:19 pm

Anybody found a great scanner to use with OD? Would like to use it for documents and xrays?

I know this has been discussed before but am interested if anyone found something new recently?

I have found Microtek scanners to give good contrast. You have to buy an MTMA from Mictotek direct or Amazon. I use i800 for pans and cephs and a i320 with a MTMA for pa's. i800 has a built in transparancy adapter. I have scanned x-rays since 1995. Hesitant to move to full digital because of cost.
