Assigning provider to a procedure

Post by khdilger » Sun Mar 13, 2011 1:15 pm

I searched and found my answer but I wanted to confirm this... Is it still not possible to assign a specific procedure to a provider? Assign all bitewings and prophies to a hygienist? It would be really nice to monitor production levels with this...

You can easily assign procedures to dentist vs. hygienist. I think there is a feature request for assigning procedures to a specific provider, but that's intended for things like mouthwash that would get assigned to a dummy provider so that it does not inflate production numbers.

Well I changed the prophies, flourides, bitewings and panos to have "Is Hygienist" selected in each procedure but I am still the default. Do I have to run a tool for it to take effect on already planned procedures?

It will only take effect when setting complete.

So there is probably no way to go back and change completed procedures to the hygienist provider? For gathering data on past reports I guess I need to manually add up the specific procedure codes that they hygienist would have. But from here on out after the procedures are set with the correct provider the reports will be easier to generate.
