There are so many good remote access options that a web-based version of OD is low on the priority list. However, we are pushing heavily on web services like patient portal, backups, mobile, text messaging, email reminders with a confirmation button, electronic Rx, passing info to and from regional health exchanges, patients scheduling their own appts, online payments, etc. For example, rather than a full version of OD, we might end up with an online schedule for dentists, sort of like a larger mobile app. It would be useless for charting, but it would let you see your schedule from anywhere. That's just an example and not a promise. It's absolutely impossible for me to give you any idea of how long it will be.

How is the email reminders with confirmation going? Can we expect that soon?

Haven't started on that. Impossible to say when. We would need to implement html email before we could do that.
