Searching the forum

Post by edpsystems » Mon May 30, 2011 11:01 pm

Is anybody else getting this:
The following words in your search query were ignored because they are too common words: payment procedure.
You must specify at least one word to search for. Each word must consist of at least 3 characters and must not contain more than 14 characters excluding wildcards.

when they search this forum? It's a bit frustrating..!

Yes, I have also had similar problems. Tried searching for "mysql version 5.5" even with quotation marks -- same thing.

I wanted to automatically associated a payment with its corresponding procedure, so no luck there. And now I just searched "recall" and got the same message!

That's been annoying me for a while. I just took the time to learn how search works in phpBB. I switched us over to MySQL search and rebuilt the index. It should work much better now.
