Production Analysis Report

I need some help on running a Production Analysis Report that my doctor is asking for. I have checked on the Query Report Examples pages and example #45 is pretty much what he is requesting. But as luck would have it, this report is one that is not working with the current database updates. With our previous software we were able to run a production analysis report that allowed us to enter the beginning year date, and the beginning and ending dates of the current period. The final report included the # of individual procedures and the total amount charged for those procedures for both YTD & current period. It would also include a condensed report that gave a break-down of procedures (crowns, bridges, composites, etc.) similiar to the catergories that are already established in OD. Any pointers in getting this report would be greatly appreciated.
