Printing weekly patient schedule

Post by mfdental » Fri Feb 10, 2012 2:47 pm

I'm a little annoyed with printing the weekly patient schedule. On days when we are not open, I print out the weekly schedule for the next 2 months, so that my receptionist can still make appointments when she's not in the office. However, when I click on the print option, it does not print the individual dates on each column. So my receptionist has to label the actual dates on each column herself, such as 2/6; 2/7; 2/8; 2/9; 2/10, and so on. This can get a little annoying and tedius, since she has to manually label 60 days every week.

Please tell me there is an easier way? I usually click on the print schedule button above the calandar.

set it up for her to use remote access, like Logmein free or something, and she can do it from home...that would be MUCH better and everything would be current and in sync.

Right. But as far as the dates not showing, that might just be a bug that we are not aware of. I'll have someone look into it.

drtech:
The problem is, she's not sitting around at home waiting for phone calls all day. I'm a start-up, so I'm probably getting about 4-5 calls a day on average. I just paying her an extra 30 minutes a day to cover the phone.

Thanks for looking into it

i just meant instead of sending her home with paper copy (which could be out of date and does not have pt info/chart with it), give her remote access and when she needs to be able to log on to conduct business..she will have everything...but maybe I am not understanding..

She cant do that if she is out shopping or running errands. She only gets paid 30 minutes when she's on call for a day, so it wouldn't be fair to make her sit in front of her computer all day.

After looking into it, I think the date range for the week shows at the top of the printout, but the day of the month does not show at the top of each column. We're adding that.

Day of the month will now show at the top of each column. This change was released with v12.0.15 and v12.1.2.
