Just upgraded to version 13.
What I noticed is that OpenDental invalidates the signature every time I open the completed procedure notes and change fee amount.
I have to do it time-to-time because of insurances and fee schedules' issues (one example: "service replaced by alternative benefit" on insurance statement)
Any comments?

Re: Procedure note security.
I'm on version 13.1.16.0 and it doesn't happen to me most of the time, but it does happen occasionally. The signature should really only validate the written note, changing a fee or the procedure code shouldn't invalidate the signature. Haven't been able to figure out why it occurs sometimes but not other times.

Re: Procedure note security.
The signature in the procedure edit window should only invalidate when the note changes / was changed from outside the proc edit window. Other than the obvious, clicking Clear Sig or resigning, there isn't anything else that will invalidate the signature. My guess is that the note is getting manipulated outside of the procedure edit window somehow and that's what's causing the invalidation.
Simply changing the fee will not invalidate the signature. If you can reproduce that issue than you should give us a call and we can start to investigate the issue further.

The best thing about a boolean is even if you are wrong, you are only off by a bit.
