New Problem: Error Requires Closing Program

Post by savvy » Wed Dec 19, 2007 8:10 am

OPENDENTAL HAS ENCOUNTERED A PROBLEM AND NEEDS TO CLOSE.......DO YOU WISH TO SEND A REPORT TO MICROSOFT"

The only computer this error does not occur on is the "server".

This occurs in two places. The first is not all the time. Sometimes, after I open OD and right after I close the Data Path screen, I get this error and can not proceed.

EVERY TIME I close out of OD I get this error.

Any clues?

Debbie, Steve, Jordan, et al.......I'll call you very soon.

i get this error if the dll files are not up to date with the exe file...but this is only on startup of the program, and not later or at close...so I don't think that is your problem....sorry no other ideas here at the moment

I get that error if I try and use an older dual display video card. I think it was a jata card with nvidea chip set. Interestingly I could use that card with only one display and all was fine but when I tried to use two displays with one being set as an extension of the main screen I got the error you describe.

That bug has been at the top of our known bugs list for weeks. It's now been fixed, thanks to you letting us troubleshoot it on your computer. It was only specific to certain hardware.
