Setup Procedure codes at the same time, Monthly billing

Post by thatODguy » Mon Dec 31, 2007 2:43 pm

I have 2 questions:
1. Can we set up autocdoe/singclick for procedures codes D4341, D4260, D4261 to select 4 quadrants at the same time?

2. During monthly billing, we do not want the patients that are waiting on insurance claims to show up on the billing statements. Is there a way to only display the patients that have an outstanding charge, not waiting on the insurance company?

1. Yes. Use a procedure button with 4 of the same code on it. If the code "mouth area" is quadrant, then it is smart enough to know that you mean one of each quadrant.

2. That option was added in version 5.4. It shows as a checkbox on the billing options page. For added power, you may set billing types of individual patients in unusual situations. You may then filter billing types on the billing options page.

In the chart module: Procedure D4341 is default at UR. I would like to know if i can make different procedure codes (with the same name, D4341) but switch the default quadrants to either LR,LL,UL.

i have mine set up as a procedure button with four of the same code and it automatically sets one for each quadrant if that is why you are trying to do.

I have set up per your suggestion. However, in addition, I would like to have 4 separate procedure buttons, one for each quadrant. Is it possible?
