Importing emails from gmail.

How can you copy and paste gmail pt e-mails to an OD pt file? I open a file in images for email, but cant copy and paste to that file from emails. Any other way to do this?

There isn't a way to copy and paste email from GMail but you can sync your entire GMail account with Open Dental so that incoming emails automatically show up within Open Dental.

I got the outgoing emails from my office in my progress note , but not what the patient answered. Anyway to set that up so the answered emails shows in my progress?

Yes, you can set this up by following the links Jason posted above.

However you have to be aware this is not imap protocol so huge problems if you use outlook. We have 4 front desk. All have individual emails but also access to the shared office email. If you put that into open dental there is no 2 way sync (requires imap) so will mess up your outlook.
