For anyone who wants to use Google Chrome web browser, but who is having difficulty getting it running, the fix is pretty easy.
1) Go to Start > Run > Regedit
2) Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > SYSTEM > CurrentControlSet > Services > SysPlant
3) Double click on the "Start" key, and change Value data to 4 (it's usually set to 0 or 1)
4) Close out of Regedit, reboot and Chrome show fire up without a hitch
