mysql question on a new server migration

wondering how do I get opendental to see my mysql data that was moved from the old server to a new server using windows 2003 server.

Not sure how to restart mysql.

See the backups page for the sequence for doing a restore. That's what you are doing. You are restoring a backup to another computer in the exact same way that everyone should be familiar with for restoring to home computer to test backups.
