I recently recompiled 23.2 to update our existing 22.3 version we've been running this past year. When I upgraded the database everything went smoothly but the appointment module was noticeably slow.
Using mySQL 5.7 like I have for many years on Linux. Nothing changed there on the back end.
It was unusably slow with like a second or two delay between appointment book actions. I reversed the database back to 22.3 and staying there for now until I can get this figured out. Works fast, like normal, back on the old version. Other modules seemed to be fine.
I noticed a bunch of changes to the database on appointments during the upgrade process, but any pointers or ideas on the changes between versions on the conversion of the database that may be causing the issue and what to do about it?
Slow appointment module
Re: Slow appointment module
I typically start by using the slow query logger on MySQL to help categorize the slowness; whether it stems from query or software changes.

The best thing about a boolean is even if you are wrong, you are only off by a bit.

Re: Slow appointment module
I refreshed my VS setup, pulled a fresh git copy, recompiled, tested, and now is fine! So, I don't know what the problem was b4...
