Planned appointment

Post by jordansparks » Thu Sep 06, 2007 10:12 am

Sorry, I had to make a few changes to the new info showing in the planned appt tab of Chart module. Main problems were:
1. A long planned appointment could spill down long enough to collide with the new labels. Therefore, it was moved up and to the right.
2. Put it in a panel with a description for a cleaner look and more intuitive purpose.
3. Colors now exactly match the logic in the Progress Notes. They were inconsistent.
4. Font sizes standardized.

great....I knew we needed to fix a few things with it, just hadn't had the time yet.

I originally put it over the appt even though it covered long appts in anticipation of having multiple planned appts on the tab and needing more space....but we can come to that once we get multiple appt on there I guess.

Looks like my "bold account balance" option in the account was changed. (This is a new option, you can still have the original view like it has always been)

Did someone not like the previous way it looked with the bold view of balance? Since this is the main reason I put this in here, just wondering what everyone is thinking on this.

For those who haven't ever seen it, it used to have a large font with colors for easy visibility on the family balance. and now it is small font, standardized like all the others with just gray and black. I know we want to keep everything standardized on size and colors as much as possible, so I propose a compromise of a large font for the balance to make it stand out.

I think you had the original at something like font size 26 (?). When everything else is at 8, and the main headers on the page are at 10 bold, a size of 26 seems extreme, especially given the bright colors. It is currently at 10 bold. How about 16 point bold, maroon? I'll make it like that in 5.1, and let me know if it still isn't working for you.

sounds good...i think the above was 17 to get it even top and bottom, but 16 is fine if that looks balanced

ins. left, & ins pending

Post by DrK » Thu Sep 27, 2007 11:46 am

David

we were waiting to upgrade to 5.2 for a long time. the new bar in the account module w/ insurance left & insurance pending (upper right) was the push we needed. however it seems that it is not functioning (or at least for us). if it is possible for you to look into this (if this is from our end or it's a bug). We have been waiting for this for a long time & thanks again.

Thank youImage

I will look into it.

I know the $ with payment plan is not functional yet, I would make that invisible for now. I havn't even looked into figuring out how to do that, just knew I wanted it there...so it is "vapor ware" as Jordan says.
If someone else knows an easy way to get that calculation feel free to fix it for me and make it a reality!

The other three Items should work though. As I am testing now, it looks like only the "Est After ins" is working. Something must have happened when I transfered it from my custom version to the main program. I will see what I can do.

Glad someone else finds it useful!

i also agree that the 'Est after ins' and other future info to the right of the balance is a great quick location. Mine also doesn't work though, but i'm only on 5.1.18.
looking forward to full function!

everything is working now w/ the ins info i think, plus I added a little more. Now the way it functions w/ the balances is if you have "don't subtract ins est from balances" in Misc | Setup. It is only in v5.3, which is still in development, so you will have to wait for beta to try it.
