For dental practices that have Multiple Location:
Many OD users use Team Viewer or other software for remote connection from home to the office, or from one office to another
There is an alternate FREE remote option. Works the same. FREE Google Remote Desktop on Chrome
Chrome Remote Desktop allows users to remotely access another computer through Chrome browser

To gain Hipaa compliance it is best to use a GSuite Account and turn on 2 factor authentication. I don't think it is capable of tracking logins and usage, which is required by Hipaa.

When using Google Remote Desktop and to remote connect to another computer, that computer can be on Windows login initial main screen.
1- you still need to enter the credentials for that computer , windows user name and password etc... the same way as if you are siting in front of it.
2- you need to log into OD.
3- when you are done, now you need to log off OD
4- log off Windows
