Hello Open Dental API Team,
Is it possible in open dental API to create a claim based on unsent claims. What exact link should I review to create a new claim (I think it should be the post function), but just wanted to clarify.

Claims POST is currently in development. However, if you'd like to get a list of claims, or update existing unsent claims, please see Claims GET and Claims PUT.

When you say "under development", then is it expected to be released in the next one month or so? Or longer?

I'd estimate Claims POST will be complete in about 4 weeks time.

For Claims POST, it would be great if you could do the claim post for Claims and Preauth as well. So both options for postings.

It would be great if Claim PUT or Claim POST can have the ability to attach items to the claim. Currently, attachments are available to send via dental change in Open Dental. We would like to the ability to edit attachments and add attachments.

Open Dental does not allow users to attach additional procedures to a claim after it is created. Therefore the API will not allow that with Claims PUT.

Wanted to follow up to see what the progress was for this function for Claim Post.
Also, I did want to clarify my earlier question regarding DXC attachments. Currently, attachments are available to send via dental change in Open Dental. We would like to the ability to add attachments to the Claim Post. Is this possible?

The API will not support interactions with DXC (or any other third party) integrations that exist in Open Dental.
