Hi Team,
I recently observed that for a patient when I checked the FamFinUrgNote in the Open Dental software, there was no Note present in the accounts module, but for the same patient when I tried getting the data using the GET API, the FamFinUrgNote was showing up.
Ideally, it should be the same on both sides. Why am I seeing the Note in the GET API response if the Note is not present in the software?
Please guide me on this, and if that is an API issue, please let me know when it will be resolved.

I was looking into the issue you described, however I was unable to recreate it. Would you be willing to provide more information or possibly some steps to duplicate so that I can further investigate this issue?
Thanks!

Hello beacondental,
I appreciate the willingness to provide more information to solve this problem, however next time please sanitize or redact potential PHI. With that being said, the FamFinUrgNote is only stored with the guarantor of the family – and in your case, it looked like the patient with the FamFinUrgNote attached was not the guarantor of the family. To solve this, you can set the patient in question as the guarantor, and the note will show in the Account Module. If this patient is not meant to be the guarantor, you can copy that note to the correct guarantor.
Thanks!
