Hyperterminal connection to OD Images

Post by Roy Bloom » Wed Sep 12, 2007 6:03 am

Is it possible to import an ECG/BP/SP02 into the images portion of the chart using hyperterminal. My ECG has a serial port and I have a cable that goes from serial port to USB.

Thanks

Roy

Is it stored on the ECG as a file? Like it is with a digital camera? The file type doesn't matter. There would not be an image preview. You would have to double click to view, but I think it would work.

I think it spits out a file every five minutes. I am most interested in the 02 BP HR. The actual ECG is not really something I want a hard copy of in a chart.

Who would I talk to about setting up hyperterminal? A local windows guy? I am using XP Pro.

I'm sorry, I really wouldn't have a clue about HyperTerminal. It's just something I've never used. I would have to do some research. Yes, you can probably find someone who has some experience with that.
