Anyway to allow initials
Anyway to allow initials
Is there anyway that OD can allow the main schedule to just show initials in the treatment ops, rather than the full name, it would help with HIPAA

3 M makes these very neat privacy screens that only allow you to see the screen when directly in front of it ( i believe in a 6o degree arc). They are inexpensive on ebay and simply adhere to the sides of the screen.

Re: Anyway to allow initials
I use these, but it still is not a great solution, would be better if somehow we could identify the patient with initials to "avoid any unwanted patient snooping"
Re: Anyway to allow initials
For the time being you could just use an alternate appointment view (Setup > Appointment views), and edit it so just the patient first name shows.
Otherwise, it's a feature request.

How can I tell which appt view I am presently using?
Re: Anyway to allow initials
I don't see that option in available rows for first name only = just has a choice of PatientName
Re: Anyway to allow initials
The field is called PatientNameF

Midway down on the right hand side you'll see a dropdown called 'View'. Toggle between those, or use the corresponding function key on your keyboard.fishdrzig wrote:How can I tell which appt view I am presently using?
