How do I handle this? I am coming from ES and use that as my basis:
Hygiene visit for patient: appointment is made with proc. codes for APRO,4BWX,and PExam. The first two are done by the hygienst and the last is by doc. Can I preset the codes to default the exam to a doc? Does the codes get 'complete set' based on the op the appoint is in?
DO I make sense?
different provdiers for different proc. codes in same appoin

It's discussed on the operatories page:
http://www.opendental.com/manual/operatories.html
And probably further discussed on some links from there. If you still have questions after looking at that, feel free to ask.

Re: different provdiers for different proc. codes in same appoin
Thanks Jordan....Let me clarify the question: Hygiene visits consists of Apro, FL,Exam. The Exam is done by the dentist in the hyg. op. When the appointment is 'set complete' all procedures are defaulted to the provider in that Op. Anyway to override just the exams?
Also, don't know what we are doing wrong, but now that the OPs are set up, if we make any appointment in that OP, should the 'dentist' and 'hygienist' in the 'edit appointment' window default?
Thanks for the help

You set up the op with 2 providers, both dentist and hygeinist. The appointment also has 2 providers. When you set complete, it uses the Is Hygiene procedure flag in the procedure code edit window
http://www.opendental.com/manual/procedurecodeedit.html
to determine which procedure gets assigned to which provider. If it's not working, please call us. We can fix it in about 2 minutes. I would sort of have to see your screen to know what's wrong.
