Does this need a query?

Post by dpat08 » Fri Sep 17, 2021 1:50 pm

I'm a pediatric dentist. I am trying to figure out a few things...

1. The total adjusted production per appointment with code D9240 (hospital call) attached to it over a specified time frame in the past.
2. The number of times we've completed D9240 in a specified date.

The second one is easy. Just run a regular procedure code date.

Any thoughts on how to achieve this?

Thanks
Dylan

1. We don't have a report for your first item. Query #405 on the Query Examples page, https://opendentalsoft.com:1943/ODQuery ... yList.aspx, sounds close to what you are looking for, but it only looks at procedure fees and doesn't take adjustments into account. You could fill out a query request form, https://opendentalsoft.com:1943/ODQuery ... tForm.aspx, to see if our query team can modify it.

2. For your second item, You can run a procedures report, https://www.opendental.com/manual/reportdailyprocs.html, for a given date range, enter the code to search for, and select the Grouped By Procedure Code. That will give a count of completed procs with the specified code within the date range.
