treatment plans dates vs actual appointment dates

Post by LAL2 » Fri Jan 16, 2009 8:25 am

With the newest upadate - I really like the ability to delete old treatment plan listings from scheduled appt screen and the "add" button that allows you to go directly to the procedure listing screen - much better - saves going back and forth to pick up this information - thanks! :D Why was it that when you attach a treatment plan item to an appt on the schedule, that the date does not automatically convert the date of the assigned appointment? Same when you move an appointment to a rescheduled date - it hangs on to the original date. This causes problems when "completing" the appointment, it carries an incorrect date to the account and insurance claim. Any insight? Thanks!

When an appointment is set complete, it should change the dates of the procedures. Are you sure it's really not?

Yes, for real. I have to have my staff do corrections because I find dates incorrect on the account ledger - claims going out with the wrong dates on them. Do I have a glitch in my system? It would be really nice not to have to watch-dog this. I would have thought the date of the treatment plan would convert to the day that it is posted on and completed on. Any ideas? Thanks for your help

I actually can't duplicate it. How are you setting the appointment complete? Exact button sequence. From Chart module? From Appt module? How? Right click, Set complete? Or click on the Set Complete button over at the right? This is the first report I have had of it. Duplicating it is going to be the first step.
