unhandling exception when creating lab slip

Post by Pruce Dental » Sun Sep 19, 2010 12:21 pm

Using version 7.2.40...

After importing a scanned image of a lab slip, I tried deleting a few fields such as the lab name and address that is already on the script and I get the following error each time. Am I doing something wrong? I scanned my image at 600 dpi because the slip was hard to read when printed otherwise.

I tested with 150 dpi..and it worked fine...I am guessing my image size was too big correct?

My slip looks good at 150dpi...I just sent it to a different printer...

Ok..so my next question...Is there a way to show the lab due date field without the time 12:00am showing?..or to at least set the time to a different hour?

You do have control over the date and time due by editing the lab object. I just tested changing the time and it seems to work fine. I think it always defaults to 5pm, so I'm curious why yours would default to midnight. What does it say in the lab edit window, middle left?

originally it said 12:00am when I posted...then I went into the lab edit window and the interval for days in lab and extra time for delivery etc. was not set...after I set the interval it was then at the default 5:00pm...5:00pm is actually my correct time I would like to display...for sake of argument thou if one wanted to change it to say 4:00pm where you you make the change? I didn't see anywhere to input a different time.

You can change it manually in the lab edit window for that one lab case. There's no way to change the default yet.

Jordan...

I printed out a lab case again today and it says 12:00am instead of the 5pm default...I get the 5pm default if I click on the set due date part and let OD pick the date due for the lab case...but...if I manually go below and type in a date (to give the lab an extra day or two if the patient is not returning immediately) then I get the 12:00am as the default...

this is with version 7.2.43.

Until you explained it, it never occurred to me that someone would type out the date. I assumed everyone would use the automation.
