Veneer Graphic on Molar

I am not sure it would be accurate to call this a "bug" but the veneer graphic on a molar is not appearing as expected. I currently am on Version 7.2.44. The veneer graphic was first released a couple of versions ago. The veneer graphic works beautifully on anterior teeth and bicuspids. When I post a veneer on a molar (my new patient had veneers on his upper first molars today), I get a graphic that looks like the combination of a facial and Class V composite on the molar. The veneer graphic does not cover the entire facial of the tooth like it does on bicuspids and anterior teeth. I could duplicate this on other molars in both the upper and lower arch. I also duplicated this on different patients.

We didn't anticipate anyone trying to put a veneer on a molar. We only went back as far as the second premolar. If you want it to look better for the patient, you could do a little freehand drawing with the same color. I don't think we'll "fix" it.

yeah i had the same issue. I never called about it because i figured it was intential on OD part. But veneers on 1st molars do occur. Maybe OD programmers dont do any cosmetic work... LOL

I did maybe one set of veneers per year for 11 years. You are correct, it was not a big part of my practice.

I would have to think about it. Why? You don't like the pulpotomy graphics?

nah I was just playing. the molar veneer is such a small detail, and it would be a NICE Detail for us who do them. I dont do many pulpotomies but theres a graphic for it.
