Tried to go from 7.3.7 to 7.3.8 and then to 7.4.10 and get this message,
"You have an error in your SQL syntax, check the manual that corresponds to
your MYSQL server version for the right syntax to use near 'of account' at line 1.
Had to down grade back to 7.3.7 again. 7.3.7 works fine.
Any ideas?

Re: Stuck on version 7.3.7
make sure your database folder is a single word (ie. open2) instead of "Copy of Open Dental". Open Dental (or maybe it's MySQL) freaks out when it encounters spaces or weird characters in the name. Try that first.

Re: Stuck on version 7.3.7
FYI, I just did the same upgrade path this morning (7.3.7 - > 7.4.10) and did not have a problem...

Then we'll need a copy of your database to test on our end.

Re: Stuck on version 7.3.7
Called OD support today for the purpose of having them upload a copy of our database as Jordan suggested.
But then with the help of #11 Britt and #13 Luke we were able to upgrade our server from 7.3.7 to 7.4.10 with no problem.
Backed up the office data, came home and was able to restore the current data to my home machine.
So there is no longer a problem. Must have been gremlins.

(Tell me where else you can get this kind of support.)
