error in editing progress notes

We occasionally have a need to edit a line item that has already been completed. Normally there is no problem doing this. Once in the procedure page we click "edit anyway" and we are allowed to make changes, this can be a note or date adjustment, code adjustment etc.

We have one account that when we tried to do this we get the following error.

"Unhandled exception has occurred in your application. If you click Continue, the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue. If you click Quit, the application will close immediately. Object reference not set to an instance of an object"

When I click continue it does not let me adjust the account. Clicking quit shuts down open dental. It is only happening in this one particular chart. Any ideas?

Make sure you are on a current build and a fairly current version. Run the db maint tool. If it's still a problem, then we usually get a copy of your database and troubleshoot it here.
