If I input the replacement crown details on the crown procedure the status = "replacement" and the prior placement date do not seem to get inputted automatically on the insurance claim, so we have to enter the information again on the claim?????
Are we doing something wrong or could this be a bug?
Thanks

Yes, you enter them again if you are printing a claim, but not if it's an eclaim.

Re: ? bug with replacement crown information
Ok, Thanks for the explanation. I can understand that it would be impossible to automatically transfer the information since the same fields do not exist on the paper claim. Now I also get that the information attached to the procedure will not show on the claim when you open it because it is a copy of the paper claim.
I use e-claims through claim connect.
Does anyone know if the information is only attached to the procedure if the e-claim still comes up with an error for missing information?
I am thinking that entering it on the procedure may just be a waste of time.

Yes, it will give you an error that prevents you from sending the e-claim if you don't have it at the procedure level.
